our story

Downtown Rookies sports bar & Grill was established in February of 2012. Our vision was to provide our downtown with a place where family and friends could go to enjoy all sports on one of our 21 televisions or just come enjoy our easy feel environment. When weather permits our front windows open up giving you a view of our beautiful downtown. We are a family ran restaurant and consider all staff as family having several of them since our opening.

Good food has always been at the top of our list and we continually strive in making that a priority. Customers or visitors that are from out of town that are trying us out for the first time are always commenting on how our food is nothing close to “quote unquote” bar food. We cook everything fresh and get great reviews on how good it is. With a full bar and a pleasing menu you won’t be disappointed. We are proud to be part of the jewel of the central valley, Downtown Visalia.
